OSRS Graceful rework 2026: one-time unlocks, 430,000 GP copies and the new Fremennik kit

The Graceful rework published on 18 September 2026 proposes that every Graceful piece becomes a one-time unlock bought with Marks of Grace, permanently kept on your account, with additional copies sold for GP to Grace. Copy prices are Graceful Hood 60,000 GP, Top 90,000 GP, Legs 100,000 GP, Gloves 50,000 GP, Boots 65,000 GP and Cape 65,000 GP, totalling 430,000 GP for the full set. The full base set currently costs 260 Marks of Grace. Duplicates you already own will have their Marks refunded, but you will no longer be able to sell Graceful pieces back to Grace for Marks.

Key takeaways

  • Base set stays at 260 Marks of Grace, but each piece becomes a one-time unlock that never leaves your account.
  • Copy prices total 430,000 GP for all six pieces: 60k Hood, 90k Top, 100k Legs, 50k Gloves, 65k Boots, 65k Cape.
  • Grace, not Perdu, is the NPC handling the reworked Graceful system.
  • Existing duplicate pieces get their Marks of Grace refunded; you can no longer sell pieces back for Marks.
  • The Fremennik Graceful Ornament Kit arrives from a 65 Thieving picklockable chest and drops Sunken treasure on a failed attempt.

How Graceful works right now

Graceful is the cosmetic trade-up that Marks of Grace buy. Each piece is purchased individually with Marks, and a complete set costs 260 Marks of Grace in total. Marks of Grace are dropped by Agility methods, with the Hallowed Sepulchre currently the main source for players chasing marks.

The friction is what happens after the first set. If you want another Graceful piece or another full set, you have to earn more Marks of Grace and pay again, because you are buying the item itself rather than unlocking it once. Add a second cosmetic set into the mix and the same problem repeats, which is exactly the frustration the rework is aimed at.

02

What the rework actually changes

The proposal converts every Graceful piece into a one-time unlock. You spend the required Marks of Grace once, and the piece stays unlocked on your account permanently. To get a duplicate you pay Grace in GP instead of Marks.

Grace is the preferred NPC because she already handles Graceful related things, and the 18 September update explicitly moved the whole change over from Perdu, where the earlier draft of the blog placed it. Jagex also commits to refunding the Marks of Grace you spent on duplicate pieces you currently hold, so players who worked through extra sets do not lose that progress. The refund is limited to duplicates you currently hold, because deleted pieces cannot be traced back.

One trade-off goes with it: after the rework you will not be able to sell Graceful pieces back to Grace for a Marks of Grace refund. Once you have earned Graceful, any extra Marks of Grace can go towards other rewards, which Jagex frames as making cosmetics feel less frustrating to chase.

The 430,000 GP copy price table

Copy pricing is per piece and is what makes the rework feel like a real economy change rather than a cosmetic relabel. The Hood is the cheapest unlock at 60,000 GP and the Legs are the most expensive at 100,000 GP, which sits above the Top at 90,000 GP. Boots and Cape are both 65,000 GP and Gloves are the cheapest at 50,000 GP.

Taken together the six copies total 430,000 GP. That is a meaningful but not punishing amount for a player with a functioning economy, and it gives the rework a real cost curve instead of another Marks grind loop.

  • Graceful Hood: 60,000 GP
  • Graceful Top: 90,000 GP
  • Graceful Legs: 100,000 GP
  • Graceful Gloves: 50,000 GP
  • Graceful Boots: 65,000 GP
  • Graceful Cape: 65,000 GP
  • Full set of copies: 430,000 GP

The new Fremennik Graceful Ornament Kit

Alongside the rework, the Graveyard update proposes a second cosmetic set, the Fremennik Graceful Ornament Kit, which is a more rugged take on Graceful taking inspiration from Fremennik styles and culture. It is obtained through the new Agility course and is described as a rare drop.

The kit comes from a picklockable chest positioned just before the final obstacle of the course, and picking the lock requires 65 Thieving. A failed picklock attempt rewards Sunken treasure, a stackable item that can be handed to an NPC in Rellekka in exchange for Marks of Grace. That makes even a failed attempt a route back to Marks, which softens the 65 Thieving wall for players whose Thieving is behind their Agility.

05

Why this matters for Marks of Grace farming

The Graveyard course is positioned as the best source of Marks of Grace in the game at high intensity, delivering 30 or more per hour. The Graceful rework changes what you do with those marks: instead of burning them on repeat sets, you spend them once to unlock every piece and keep it forever.

For players who farm Marks purely for cosmetics, the value per mark goes up substantially. For players who also farm Marks for the Sepulchre's progression items, the rework does not change anything about those drops. The two systems stay separate, and the only behavioural shift is that cosmetic marks become a one-time investment rather than a recurring one.

Questions players ask

Questions players ask

How much does a full set of Graceful copies cost after the rework?+

430,000 GP in total: 60,000 Hood, 90,000 Top, 100,000 Legs, 50,000 Gloves, 65,000 Boots and 65,000 Cape.

Do I still need Marks of Grace after the rework?+

Yes, once per piece. Marks of Grace remain the cost of the first unlock; GP is only charged for copies you buy afterwards.

Who sells Graceful after the rework?+

Grace. The 18 September update moved the Graceful changes over from Perdu, where an earlier draft placed them.

Will I get a refund for duplicate Graceful pieces I already own?+

Yes, for duplicates you currently hold. Jagex cannot trace pieces that have already been deleted, so those are not refunded.

Can I sell Graceful pieces back for Marks of Grace after the rework?+

No. Selling pieces back to Grace for a Marks refund is removed as part of the rework.

How do I get the Fremennik Graceful Ornament Kit?+

It is a rare drop from a picklockable chest before the final obstacle of the Graveyard Agility Course. Picking the lock needs 65 Thieving; a failed attempt gives Sunken treasure, which you trade to an NPC in Rellekka for Marks of Grace.
