OSRS Rellekka guide 2026: transport, facilities, training spots, the Sailing port and quests
Rellekka is the Fremennik village in the far north of the Fremennik Province, added with The Fremennik Trials (2004). Nearly all of its facilities require that quest. Fastest routes: Fremennik sea boots 1 (teleports to the marketplace), an enchanted lyre (south entrance), Waterbirth Teleport (short boat hop from the docks), or a player-owned house portal just south of town; the fairy ring DKS sits near Keldagrim's cave exit a short run east of the north entrance. There is no bank in Rellekka. The town offers the 80-Agility Rellekka Rooftop Course (55k-65k XP/hour), a large Hunter area with a fur trader, full fishing on the docks, a workshop with furnace/spinning wheel/anvils, and thieving stalls in the guarded marketplace. Since Sailing, Rellekka is a level-62 port with a shipwright, notice board, salvaging station and ledger table, offering bounty tasks against hammerhead sharks, albatross, narwhal, spined/armoured/vampyre krakens and orcas, plus courier runs to Port Piscarilius, Neitiznot, Etceteria and Piscatoris. Quests anchored here: The Fremennik Trials, The Fremennik Isles, The Fremennik Exiles, Lunar Diplomacy, Olaf's Quest and The Graveyard.
Key takeaways
- Rellekka is gated behind The Fremennik Trials; most facilities are unusable until it is done.
- No bank in town — the longhall's permanent fire and the fish trader cover most cooking and selling needs.
- Rooftop Agility course at 80 Agility: 780 XP per lap (920 with Fremennik Hard Diary), 55k-65k XP/hour, no fails at 85.
- The docks reach Miscellania, Etceteria, Lunar Isle, Pirates' Cove, Waterbirth Island (Dagannoth Kings), Neitiznot/Jatizso and Ungael (Vorkath).
- Sailing port at 62 Sailing: shipwright, notice board, salvaging station and ledger table with bounty and courier tasks.
- Six quests are anchored here, making Rellekka a Fremennik quest hub: Trials, Isles, Exiles, Lunar Diplomacy, Olaf's Quest and The Graveyard.
Why Rellekka matters
Rellekka is the capital of the Fremennik people and the hub of the entire Fremennik Province. It sits on the northern coast, and its port is the starting point for most of the region's sea travel: Miscellania and Etceteria for the Manage Thy Kingdom resource management, Waterbirth Island for the Dagannoth Kings dungeon, the Fremennik Isles (Neitiznot and Jatizso) for the icy island content, and Ungael for Vorkath after Dragon Slayer II.
Almost everything in the village is locked behind The Fremennik Trials — one of the most important early-mid quests, since it unlocks the region, the sea boots teleports and access to Lunar Diplomacy and the Lunar spellbook. That quest gate is why new players often discover Rellekka as part of a quest run rather than a visit.
The wiki's Rellekka page received a substantial rewrite in early September 2026 (buildings and port sections expanded), reflecting how much of the town's value now depends on Sailing-era features.
Transport: how to reach Rellekka
The fastest route is the Fremennik sea boots 1 teleport, which lands you in the centre of the marketplace; the boots come from the easy Fremennik Diary. An enchanted lyre (from The Fremennik Trials) teleports to the southern village entrance, and a Waterbirth Teleport puts you on the island right next to a boat that runs to the Rellekka docks.
Other options: a player-owned house portal just south of the village, the fairy ring DKS (short run east from the north entrance, through the Keldagrim cave exit), a Ring of Wealth teleport to Miscellania followed by a short walk, the Music cape teleport to Falo the Bard south of town, and spirit trees to Etceteria with a run to the docks.
For players without any of those, a Camelot Teleport and a long walk north works, but it is the slowest option — the sea boots and lyre are the everyday answers.
Facilities: the longhall, workshop and marketplace
Rellekka has no bank, which shapes how people use the town. The longhall has a permanent fire, so fish caught on the docks can be cooked right there, and the fish trader in the marketplace buys and sells raw fish plus bait. The dairy cow and churn south of the village make butter, cream and cheese, and there is a farming plot behind Pontak's home with cabbages, onions and potatoes.
The workshop contains a furnace, pottery oven, spinning wheel, potter's wheel and three anvils, which makes the village self-sufficient for crafting clay items, glass (seaweed spawns + sandpit + furnace), and flax-to-bowstring work from the flax field just south. Yrsa's Accoutrements sells Fremennik clothing, and Sigmund the Merchant runs a small general store that is easy to miss because it is not shown on the world map.
The marketplace is also a thieving area: three fish stalls, two fur stalls and a wandering Fremennik to pickpocket — but market guards hit hard, so low-level thieving here is risky.
Training spots: rooftop course, Hunter area and fishing
The Rellekka Rooftop Course is one of the best Agility courses in the game: it needs 80 Agility, gives 780 XP per successful lap (920 after the Fremennik Hard Diary), and perfect runs reach about 55,000 XP/hour (65,000 with the diary). At 85 Agility you stop failing, and the course beats Prifddinas per hour until around level 89.
The Rellekka Hunter area nearby is one of the largest hunter spots in OSRS, and the fur trader in town buys all hunter furs — a neat loop for low-level hunter profit. The area also sees a lot of implings, especially along the path south of the village.
On the fishing side, the docks offer everything from shrimp and herring up to sharks, and big-net fishing also yields seaweed (handy for Crafting), leather boots, gloves and caskets. The mining patch north-east of the longhall (7 coal, 4 clay, 3 silver) is rarely used because of the missing bank.
The port and the 62 Sailing hub
The port is Rellekka's real superpower. Boats run to Miscellania and Etceteria (after The Fremennik Trials), Lunar Isle and Pirates' Cove (after Lunar Diplomacy), Waterbirth Island (rock crabs and the Waterbirth Dungeon where the Dagannoth Kings live), Neitiznot and Jatizso, and Ungael for Vorkath. After The Fremennik Exiles you can also return to the Island of Stone for Basilisk Knights and regular basilisks and dagannoth.
Since the Sailing skill, the main dock is a proper port at 62 Sailing: a shipwright, a notice board, a salvaging station and a ledger table. The notice board offers eight port tasks from a rotating pool, including bounty tasks against hammerhead sharks (62), albatross (62), narwhal (62, guaranteed to appear), spined krakens (65), armoured krakens (75), orcas (80) and vampyre krakens (80), plus courier runs carrying furs, rope, warhammers, sand and monkfish between Rellekka, Port Piscarilius, Neitiznot, Etceteria and Piscatoris.
That combination — a quest hub, a boss ferry and a Sailing port — makes Rellekka one of the busiest towns in the north in 2026.
Quests anchored in Rellekka
Six quests are anchored here. The Fremennik Trials is the gatekeeper that unlocks the region. The Fremennik Isles starts on the docks and opens Neitiznot and Jatizso. The Fremennik Exiles continues the story on the Island of Stone and brings Basilisk Knights. Lunar Diplomacy begins at Swensen's house (the maze beneath it) and unlocks the Lunar spellbook and Lunar Isle. Olaf's Quest and The Graveyard complete the local set, and Dragon Slayer II routes through the area's port for the Ungael finale against Vorkath.
Because so much of the north unlocks through this town, the Fremennik achievement diaries pair naturally with quest progression here — the easy diary's sea boots 1 teleport is the single biggest quality-of-life upgrade for anyone planning to grind Agility or Dagannoth Kings.
