Summer Sweep Up Miscellaneous is the fourth batch of the Summer Sweep Up improvements, published 2 September 2026. Where the earlier batches focused on gear and PvM, Agility and Chambers of Xeric, and Hunter and Skilling, this one sweeps up everything else — new jewellery, stackable loot, permanent QoL unlocks and a clean-up of bugged records.
Jagex also confirmed that pets following players into the Gauntlet, the Fossil Island underwater area and minigames, plus pets respawning on death, were not included this week but are planned for release within the next two weeks.

New jewellery: Fangs and elemental amulets
For ranges, the Necklace of Fangs fills the gap between mid-level and Anguish: it gives +12 ranged accuracy and +1 ranged strength, drops 1/128 from both Turoths and Spiked Turoths, and is the first ranged necklace that competes with the Fury for players without an Anguish.
For magic, four new amulets each give +10 magic accuracy and +2 max hit on their element, crafted by combining an Amulet of magic with an elemental jewel and 100 matching runes at the elemental altar — Air (18 Runecraft), Water (19), Earth (20) and Fire (21). Combining all four with 500 runes of each at level 30 Runecraft makes the Elemental Amulet, which applies +10 accuracy and +2 max hit to all core elemental spells.
The QoL batch
Two changes are worth highlighting for account progression. The Ghommal's Lucky Penny can now be consumed to permanently unlock its charge-saving effect instead of being worn, and it now also applies to the Amulet of Blood Fury — the effect deactivates if you lose Master-tier Combat Achievement completion, and reactivates when you regain it.
The shark lure system got a fishing speed boost for harpoon methods: one lure gives a 50% chance to reduce the action delay from 5 to 4 ticks, three lures make that always happen, and five lures always reduce it to 4 with a further 50% chance of 3 ticks. Player-owned house lecterns gained a 'Create Last' option and the Seed Vault now supports inventory locking.

The Nex personal best cleanup
Last week's Mad Angel Combat Achievements bug affected NPC damage calculation across the game, including at Nex, producing kill times as low as 4.2 seconds. Jagex's investigation started with 83 extremely fast personal bests and expanded to any sub-70-tick PB set during the bug window, affecting 154 players from last week.
They also revisited a 2025 Nex bug where Verac's was used in an unintended way, adding a further 489 personal bests. Across both incidents, 643 record paths were changed back to their pre-bug values, and Jagex states the Nex record should now sit at 42 seconds — no longer reliant on bugs. They invited reports of other unrealistic bug-based records to apply the same standard consistently.
