What Is the PvP Bootcamp?

The PvP Bootcamp is a six-week community event created by Katerena, a well-known OSRS content creator. Running from August 16 to September 26, 2026, the event brings together 10 content creators — ranging from absolute PvP beginners to players with some experience — for an intensive PvP training program. The goal is not to turn every recruit into a PvP pro, but to make PvP more accessible and less intimidating for the average player.

Each week focuses on a different PvP fundamental, from freeze logging and walking under opponents to tanking, prayer switching, spec timings, useful plugins, and tick eating. The recruits then put their new skills to the test in a series of increasingly challenging events. Katerena streams every session live on her Twitch channel, and many participating creators also stream their own perspectives. The event has its own dedicated world (open August 13 to September 28) for practice and challenges.

Katerena has been planning this event for years, inspired by events like Deadman Mode. Her goal is to prove that anyone can learn PvP with the right mentality and training. Later this year, Pete Kayer will also be bringing his series of PvP challenges to the game.

The Challenges

Katerena has planned a variety of PvP challenges to test the recruits' skills. In From Scratch, two teams start from scratch and have two hours to make as much money as possible through multi-PKing in the Wilderness on live worlds. Whatever they earn is what they go to battle with — the last team standing wins. In the Wilderness Boss Challenge, recruits farm multi-combat Wilderness bosses while enemy coaches in max PKing gear try to hunt them down. In Protect the King, two PvP creators captain teams as Kings who cannot fight — the recruits must protect their own King while eliminating the opposing team's King. Additional surprise challenges will be revealed during the event.

How to Watch and Participate

Katerena streams every Bootcamp session live on her Twitch channel, making it the best place to follow the action. Many recruits and coaches also stream their own perspectives, giving viewers multiple viewing options. The event has a dedicated world (opening August 13, closing September 28) available to creators and recruits for practice. Occasionally, the creators may venture into the Wilderness to put their skills into practice, so keep an eye out. After each session, highlights are uploaded to YouTube for those who miss the live streams. Katerena can also be found on Kick and YouTube.
